Drop-in widget
One script tag. The widget intercepts checkout-button clicks, shows a DOB modal, calls the API, and only lets the click through on pass.
REST API
POST /v1/verify with method dob or self_declaration and a threshold of 18, 19, 21, or 25. JSON in, pass/fail out.
Plan metering
Checks bill against included quota first, then PAYG credits, then metered overage (Growth $0.12/check, Scale $0.10/check) up to a hard cap. Provider errors and failed validations are never billed.
Verification log
GET /v1/checks returns every check plus your remaining balance — an audit trail you can export.
Check sessions
POST /v1/sessions creates a provider check session (hosted URL + session token for the widget/redirect flow); GET /v1/sessions/<id> reports its status. In sandbox mode every result is labeled a simulation.
Signed webhooks
verification.pass / fail / review / error events POSTed to your configured endpoint, HMAC-SHA256 signed, with every delivery attempt recorded in the console.
Merchant console API
GET /v1/console and /v1/usage show plan, included quota, credits, overage and key inventory; POST /v1/console/keys mints test-mode and live keys.
Test-mode keys
va_test_ keys run the full pipeline against the sandbox provider with deterministic fixture outcomes (of-age / under-age / review / error) — no real personal data, ever.
